September 21, 2024: Vernonia, OR 97064 Southwest Christian Wildcats (Beaverton, OR) boosters left the game thrilled Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad nudge the host Vernonia Loggers (Vernonia, OR), 2-1 in a non-league test.
With the win, Southwest Christian improves its record to 9-2 on the season. The Wildcats travel to Open Door Christian Academy (Troutdale, OR) to encounter the Huskies in a 1A The Valley 10 test on Tuesday, September 24. The Huskies go into the test with a record of 2-7. Vernonia will encounter a Greyhounds squad coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to Mannahouse Christian Academy (Eugene, OR). The Greyhounds record now stands at 3-5.
