In Thursday's league contest, the Athens Academy Spartans (Athens, GA) volleyball squad were winner over the visiting Banks County Leopards (Homer, GA), by a margin of 2-0.

Next up, the Spartans battle the Fellowship Christian Paladins (Roswell, GA) in a 2A Area 8 contest, on Thursday, September 22. Athens Academy will attempt to better on its 20-6 season record.
