In Thursday's league contest, the Fort Bend Austin Bulldogs (Sugar Land, TX) volleyball squad edged the host Fort Bend Hightower Hurricanes (Missouri City, TX), by a margin of 3-2.

Next up, the Bulldogs battle the Fort Bend Dulles Vikings (Sugar Land, TX) in a 6A Region III District 20 contest, on Tuesday, September 27. Fort Bend Austin will attempt to better on its 17-17 season record. The Vikings come into the contest with a 16-11 record after their 3-0 league win over Fort Bend Clements (Sugar Land, TX).

With the loss, Fort Bend Hightower drops to 19-13 on the campaign. The Hurricanes host Fort Bend Travis (Richmond, TX) to battle the Tigers in a 6A Region III District 20 contest on Tuesday, September 27. The Tigers come into the contest with a record of 18-9. Fort Bend Travis won 3-0 in their recent league contest against Fort Bend Bush (Richmond, TX)
