The Notre Dame-Green Pond Crusaders football squad (Easton, PA), dropped 41-26 in Friday's league match with the host Palmerton Blue Bombers (Palmerton, PA)

In their next game, the Blue Bombers clash with the Pine Grove Cardinals (Pine Grove, PA) in a Colonial-Schuylkill - Red match, on Friday, September 29. Palmerton will attempt to move on its 5-0 season record. The Cardinals enter the match with a 1-4 record after their 47-7 league loss to Jim Thorpe (Jim Thorpe, PA).

The Crusaders (3-2) will now prepare for their match against North Schuylkill (Ashland, PA). The Spartans enter the Colonial-Schuylkill - Red match with a 4-1 record. In their last match, North Schuylkill thwarted Northern Lehigh (Slatington, PA), 42-6, in a league match.
