The Paxton-Buckley-Loda Panthers football squad scored 57 points and restricted the host Rantoul Eagles to 26 in the Panthers league victory on Friday.

The Panthers now possess a 4-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Prairie Central for a Illini Prairie battle on Friday, September 29. Paxton-Buckley-Loda will face a Hawks squad coming off a 55-20 league win over Illinois Valley Central (Chillicothe, IL). The Hawks record now stands at 3-2.

Coming up next, the Eagles face the Monticello Sages (Monticello, IL) in a Illini Prairie battle, on Friday, September 29. Rantoul will attempt to advance on its 0-5 season record. The Sages enter the battle with a 3-2 record after their 40-8 league win over Pontiac (Pontiac, IL).
