Pennsylvania High School Football - Moon Area crushed by Mars

September 23, 2022: Mars, PA 16046

Mars Fightin' Planets (Mars, PA) fans left the game content Friday as they saw their football team rout the visiting Moon Area Tigers (Moon Township, PA), 51-7 in a non-league test.

With the triumph, Mars improves its record to 4-1 on the campaign. The Fightin' Planets travel to Highlands (Natrona Heights, PA) to battle the Golden Rams in a WPIAL AAAA Greater Allegheny test on Friday, September 30. The Golden Rams come into the test with a record of 5-0. Highlands won 31-0 in their recent league test against Indiana (Indiana, PA)

With the loss, Moon Area drops to 0-5 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to South Fayette (McDonald, PA) to battle the Lions in a WPIAL AAAAA Allegheny Six test on Friday, September 30. The Lions come into the test with a record of 2-3. South Fayette lost 21-17 in their recent non-league test against Canon-McMillan (Canonsburg, PA)
