The Saucon Valley Panthers football team (Hellertown, PA), was tipped 19-14 in Friday's league challenge with the host Pottsville Crimson Tide (Pottsville, PA)

The Crimson Tide (2-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Bangor (Bangor, PA). The Slaters come into the Colonial-Schuylkill challenge with a 4-1 record. In their last challenge, Bangor nipped Wilson Area (Easton, PA), 34-7, in a league challenge.

The Panthers now sport a 2-3 record. They take the field next when they host Northwestern Lehigh for a Colonial-Schuylkill challenge on Friday, September 30. Saucon Valley will meet a Tigers team coming off a 48-0 league win over Lehighton (Lehighton, PA). The Tigers record now stands at 4-1.
