New York High School Football - Monsignor Farrell knocks off St. Joseph-by-the-Sea
September 23, 2023: Staten Island, NY 10312 The Monsignor Farrell Lions football team scored 35 points and held the host St. Joseph-by-the-Sea Vikings to 14 in the Lions non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Lions (2-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Moore Catholic (Staten Island, NY). The Mavericks come into the non-league challenge with a 1-1 record. In their last challenge, Moore Catholic was beaten by St. Peter's (Staten Island, NY), 6-0, in a non-league challenge.
The Vikings now sport a 0-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to St. Peter's for a non-league challenge on Saturday, September 30. St. Joseph-by-the-Sea will meet a Eagles team coming off a 6-0 non-league win over Moore Catholic (Staten Island, NY). The Eagles record now stands at 3-1.
