September 23, 2023: Decatur, AL 35601 The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Austin Black Bears (Decatur, AL) and the visiting Pisgah Eagles (Pisgah, AL), saw Austin's volleyball squad beat Pisgah by a tally of 25-7.
With the win, Austin upgrades its record to 12-20 on the year. The Black Bears host Grissom (Huntsville, AL) to play the Tigers in a non-league bout on Saturday, September 23. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 7-19. Grissom won 2-1 in their recent non-league bout against Boaz (Boaz, AL)
The Eagles now own a 2-9 record. They play next when they travel to Valley Head for a non-league bout on Monday, September 25. Pisgah will play a Tigers squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Oakwood Academy (Huntsville, AL). The Tigers record now stands at 2-9.
