September 23, 2023: Inwood, IA 51240 The West Lyon Wildcats (Inwood, IA) volleyball tipped the visiting Le Mars Bulldogs (Le Mars, IA), 2-1 in Saturday's non-league outing.
With the win, West Lyon upgrades its record to 13-2 on the year. The Wildcats travel to Sibley-Ocheyedan (Sibley, IA) to play the Generals in a Siouxland outing on Tuesday, September 26. The Generals go into the outing with a record of 4-11. Sibley-Ocheyedan lost 3-0 in their recent league outing against Sioux Center (Sioux Center, IA)
The Bulldogs now own a 7-11 record. They play next when they travel to Lincoln for a Missouri River outing on Tuesday, September 26. Le Mars will play a Lynx squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Hinton (Hinton, IA). The Lynx record now stands at 13-14.
