Virginia High School Volleyball - Halifax County tips Northern Durham

Fans at Monday's non-league contest between the Halifax County Comets (South Boston, VA) and the visiting Northern Durham Knights (Durham, NC), observed Halifax County's volleyball team hold off Northern Durham by a tally of 2-1.

The Comets (5-4) will now prepare for their contest against Bassett (Bassett, VA). The Bengals enter the non-league contest with a 4-7 record. In their last contest, Bassett was tipped by Chatham (Chatham, VA), 2-0, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Knights meet the Jordan Falcons (Durham, NC) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, September 24. Northern Durham will attempt to upgrade on its 6-4 season record. The Falcons enter the contest with a 6-8 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Riverside-Durham (Durham, NC).
