Fans at Tuesday's non-league contest between the Anselmo-Merna Coyotes (Merna, NE) and the visiting Elm Creek Buffaloes (Elm Creek, NE), observed Anselmo-Merna's volleyball team hold off Elm Creek by a count of 2-1.

The Coyotes (7-6) will now prepare for their contest against Arcadia/Loup City (Arcadia, NE). The Rebels enter the non-league contest with a 4-10 record.
