September 24, 2024: Kansas City, MO 64119 Smithville Warriors (Smithville, MO) supporters left the game thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad topple the host Winnetonka Griffins (Kansas City, MO), 20-2 in a league game.
With the triumph, Smithville improves its record to 10-11 on the year. The Warriors host Excelsior Springs (Excelsior Springs, MO) to face the Tigers in a non-league game on Thursday, September 26. The Tigers enter the game with a record of 13-5. Excelsior Springs won 14-0 in their recent non-league game against Raytown South (Raytown, MO)
The Griffins now hold a 9-6 record. They play next when they travel to St. Michael the Archangel for a non-league game on Wednesday, September 25.
