Missouri High School Softball - Winnetonka drops to Kearney
October 3, 2024: Kearney, MO 64060 Kearney Bulldogs (Kearney, MO) supporters left the game thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad topple the visiting Winnetonka Griffins (Kansas City, MO), 16-1 in a league game.
With the triumph, Kearney improves its record to 22-4 on the year. The Bulldogs travel to South Harrison (Bethany, MO) to face the Bulldogs in a non-league game on Thursday, October 3. The Bulldogs enter the game with a record of 12-9. South Harrison lost 10-0 in their recent non-league game against North Platte (Dearborn, MO)
The Griffins now hold a 12-8 record. They play next when they travel to Smithville for a Class 4 District 5 game on Monday, October 7. Winnetonka will face a Warriors squad coming off a 12-2 non-league win over Raytown South (Raytown, MO). The Warriors record now stands at 13-13.
