North Carolina High School Football - West Rowan can't get by Carson
September 24, 2025: Mt. Ulla, NC 28125 Carson Cougars (China Grove, NC) fans went home in high spirits Wednesday as they saw their football team tip the host West Rowan Falcons (Mt. Ulla, NC), 20-14 in a non-league battle.
With the win, Carson improves its record to 3-2 on the season. The Cougars host Northwest Cabarrus (Concord, NC) to meet the Trojans in a non-league test on Thursday, October 2. The Trojans come into the test with a record of 5-1. Northwest Cabarrus won 12-6 in their recent non-league test against East Rowan (Salisbury, NC)
With the defeat, West Rowan drops to 2-2 on the campaign. The Falcons travel to South Rowan (China Grove, NC) to play the Raiders in a non-league challenge on Thursday, October 2. The Raiders go into the challenge with a record of 1-3. South Rowan won 21-16 in their recent non-league challenge against Concord (Concord, NC)
