North Carolina High School Football - Carson prevails Concord
October 9, 2025: China Grove, NC 28023 In Thursday's non-league match, the host Carson Cougars football squad scored a good 28-8 triumph over the Concord Spiders.
The Cougars (4-3) will now prepare for their test against East Rowan (Salisbury, NC). The Mustangs come into the non-league test with a 4-3 record. In their last test, East Rowan knocked off West Rowan (Mt. Ulla, NC), 28-8, in a non-league test.
With the defeat, Concord drops to 0-7 on the campaign. The Spiders host Northwest Cabarrus (Concord, NC) to face the Trojans in a non-league challenge on Thursday, October 16. The Trojans go into the challenge with a record of 7-1. Northwest Cabarrus won 28-6 in their recent non-league test against Salisbury (Salisbury, NC)
