The Cougars now sport a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they host Jay M. Robinson for a non-league game on Thursday, September 4. Carson will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 20-14 non-league win over West Cabarrus (Concord, NC). The Bulldogs record now stands at 1-0.
The Tigers (1-1) will now prepare for their game against Central Cabarrus (Concord, NC). The Vikings enter the non-league game with a 1-1 record. In their last game, Central Cabarrus was edged by Northwest Cabarrus (Concord, NC), 19-0, in a non-league game.
