The Ripley Vikings volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the visiting Point Pleasant Big Blacks to 1 in the Vikings non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Vikings now possess a 7-6 record. They play next when they host Cabell Midland for a non-league outing on Thursday, September 26. Ripley will play a Knights team coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Spring Valley (Huntington, WV). The Knights record now stands at 17-6.

With the loss, Point Pleasant drops to 4-7 on the campaign. The Big blacks travel to Warren (Vincent, OH) to play the Warriors in a Twin State outing on Thursday, September 26.
