September 25, 2025: Rockford, IL 61109 Belvidere North Blue Thunder (Belvidere, IL) followers went home in high spirits Thursday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the host Jefferson J-Hawks (Rockford, IL), 36-12 in a league battle.
With the win, Belvidere North advances its record to 5-0 on the season. The Blue Thunder host Belvidere (Belvidere, IL) to confront the Bucs in a Northern Illinois match on Friday, October 3. The Bucs come into the match with a record of 2-3. Belvidere won 37-28 in their recent league match against Boylan Catholic (Rockford, IL)
Next up, the J-Hawks play the Guilford Vikings (Rockford, IL) in a Northern Illinois battle, on Thursday, October 2. Jefferson will attempt to improve on its 2-3 season record. The Vikings go into the battle with a 4-1 record after their 31-28 league win over Harlem (Machesney Park, IL).
