The Classical Purple ran past the host Chariho Chargers football squad by a margin of 22-9 in Thursday's league test.

The Purple now sport a 4-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to East Greenwich for a Division III test on Friday, October 3. Classical will meet a Avengers squad coming off a 28-13 league loss to Mt. Hope (Bristol, RI). The Avengers record now stands at 2-2.

With the defeat, Chariho moves to 2-2 on the season. The Chargers travel to Johnston (Johnston, RI) to face the Panthers in a Division III challenge on Saturday, October 4. The Panthers go into the challenge with a record of 3-1. Johnston won 35-0 in their recent league challenge against Rogers (Newport, RI)
