September 25, 2025: Oakland, CA 94602 The Albany Cougars prevailed the host Head-Royce Jayhawks volleyball squad by a final score of 2-0 in Thursday's league game.
Next up, the Cougars clash with the St. Patrick-St. Vincent Bruins (Vallejo, CA) in a bout, on Monday, September 29. Albany will attempt to better on its 16-3 season record. The Bruins come into the bout with a 10-6 record after their 2-0 league loss to Saint Mary's (Albany, CA).
With the loss, Head-Royce drops to 0-4 on the campaign. The Jayhawks travel to Miramonte (Orinda, CA) to clash with the Matadors in a non-league bout on Saturday, September 27. The Matadors come into the bout with a record of 3-1. Miramonte won 2-0 in their recent league bout against Alhambra (Martinez, CA)
