The North Mecklenburg Vikings topped the visiting Mallard Creek Mavericks volleyball squad by a final score of 3-0 in Thursday's league game.

Coming up next, the Vikings play the Butler Bulldogs (Matthews, NC) in a Meck Power Six 7A/8A outing, on Monday, September 29. North Mecklenburg will attempt to upgrade on its 14-4 season record.

With the loss, Mallard Creek drops to 3-18 on the campaign. The Mavericks travel to West Charlotte (Charlotte, NC) to confront the Lions in a Meck Power Six 7A/8A game on Monday, September 29.
