The North Mecklenburg Vikings volleyball team (Huntersville, NC), was defeated 3-1 in Monday's league test with the visiting Butler Bulldogs (Matthews, NC)

With the win, Butler improves its record to 13-5 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to West Charlotte (Charlotte, NC) to face the Lions in a Meck Power Six 7A/8A test on Tuesday, September 30. The Lions go into the test with a record of 6-7. West Charlotte lost 3-0 in their recent league challenge against Mallard Creek (Charlotte, NC)

Next, the Vikings meet the Chambers Cougars (Charlotte, NC) in a Meck Power Six 7A/8A challenge, on Tuesday, September 30. North Mecklenburg will attempt to upgrade on its 14-5 season record. The Cougars come into the challenge with a 5-9 record after their 3-0 league loss to Butler (Matthews, NC).
