Michigan High School Volleyball - Port Huron Northern tips Utica

In Thursday's non-league test, the visiting Port Huron Northern Huskies volleyball squad scored a tight 2-1 win over the Utica Chieftains.

The Huskies now have a 16-6 record. They play next when they host Port Huron for a Macomb Area - Blue outing on Tuesday, September 30. Port Huron Northern will play a Red Hawks team coming off a 3-2 league win over Chippewa Valley (Clinton Township, MI). The Red Hawks record now stands at 19-2.

With the loss, Utica drops to 10-16 on the campaign. The Chieftains travel to Grosse Pointe North (Grosse Pointe, MI) to play the Norsemen in a Macomb Area - White outing on Tuesday, September 30. The Norsemen come into the outing with a record of 9-11. Grosse Pointe North lost 3-1 in their recent league outing against Marysville (Marysville, MI)
