Mountain Ridge Miners (Frostburg, MD) fans were thrilled Tuesday as they observed their soccer team prevail over the host Northern Huskies (Accident, MD), 4-0 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Miners confront the Fort Hill Sentinels (Cumberland, MD) in a Appalachian challenge, on Thursday, September 28. Mountain Ridge will attempt to better on its 4-2 season record. The Sentinels enter the challenge with a 4-1 record after their 4-1 league win over Southern (Oakland, MD).

The Huskies now have a 0-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Allegany for a non-league challenge on Thursday, September 28. Northern will confront a Campers team coming off a 7-1 non-league win over Frankfort (Ridgeley, WV). The Campers record now stands at 7-0.
