September 26, 2023: New Roads, LA 70760 The crowd at Tuesday's non-league bout between the Brusly Panthers (Brusly, LA) and the host Catholic of Pointe Coupee Hornets (New Roads, LA), saw Brusly's volleyball squad beat Catholic of Pointe Coupee by a tally of 3-0.
With the win, Brusly upgrades its record to 5-13 on the year. The Panthers host Mentorship Academy (Baton Rouge, LA) to play the Sharks in a Division III District 5 bout on Wednesday, September 27. The Sharks go into the bout with a record of 1-10.
The Hornets now own a 6-8 record. They play next when they host East Ascension for a non-league bout on Monday, October 2.
