Pennsylvania High School Football - Canton defeated by Towanda

The Towanda Black Knights were victorious over the visiting Canton Warriors football team by a score of 40-14 in Thursday's league challenge.

In their next game, the Black Knights face the South Williamsport Mountaineers (South Williamsport, PA) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, September 30. Towanda will attempt to improve on its 4-2 season record. The Mountaineers enter the challenge with a 3-3 record after their 23-19 league win over Cowanesque Valley (Westfield, PA).

The Warriors (3-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Northwest Area (Shickshinny, PA). The Rangers enter the non-league challenge with a 1-5 record. In their last challenge, Northwest Area lost by Sayre (Sayre, PA), 21-12, in a league challenge.
