The Eastern Guilford Wildcats football squad scored 60 points and limited the host High Point Central Bison to 0 in the Wildcats league triumph on Thursday.

The Wildcats now sport a 2-3 record. They take the field next when they host Rockingham County for a Mid-State 3A test on Friday, October 4. Eastern Guilford will meet a Cougars squad coming off a 9-6 league win over Ben L. Smith (Greensboro, NC). The Cougars record now stands at 4-1.

With the defeat, High Point Central drops to 0-5 on the campaign. The Bison travel to Northeast Guilford (McLeansville, NC) to meet the Rams in a Mid-State 3A test on Friday, October 4.
