Maryland High School Football - La Plata crushed by North Point
September 26, 2024: La Plata, MD 20646 North Point Eagles (Waldorf, MD) fans went home in high spirits Thursday as they saw their football team triumph over the host La Plata Warriors (La Plata, MD), 40-3 in a league battle.
With the win, North Point improves its record to 3-1 on the season. The Eagles host Calvert (Prince Frederick, MD) to play the Cavaliers in a Southern Maryland battle on Friday, October 4. The Cavaliers go into the battle with a record of 3-1. Calvert won 35-0 in their recent league battle against Chopticon (Morganza, MD)
The Warriors now have a 0-4 record. They play next when they travel to Westlake for a Southern Maryland battle on Saturday, October 5. La Plata will play a Wolverines team coming off a 28-6 non-league win over St. Charles (Waldorf, MD). The Wolverines record now stands at 3-1.
