The Chopticon Braves football team (Morganza, MD), was crushed 40-7 in Friday's league bout with the visiting La Plata Warriors (La Plata, MD)

With the win, La Plata advances its record to 1-5 on the season. The Warriors travel to St. Charles (Waldorf, MD) to encounter the in a Southern Maryland bout on Friday, October 18. The go into the bout with a record of 2-4. St. Charles lost 21-0 in their recent league bout against North Point (Waldorf, MD)
