September 6, 2024: Indian Head, MD 20640 The Lackey Chargers (Indian Head, MD) football trounced the visiting Chopticon Braves (Morganza, MD), 42-6 in Friday's league outing.
The Chargers now sport a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Northern for a Southern Maryland outing on Friday, September 13. Lackey will clash with a Patriots squad coming off a 48-33 league loss to Westlake (Waldorf, MD). The Patriots record now stands at 0-1.
With the defeat, Chopticon drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Braves host North Point (Waldorf, MD) to clash with the Eagles in a Southern Maryland outing on Friday, September 13. The Eagles come into the outing with a record of 0-1. North Point lost 21-20 in their recent league outing against Leonardtown (Leonardtown, MD)
