Louisiana High School Volleyball - Destrehan overwhelmed by Riverside Academy
September 26, 2024: Destrehan, LA 70047 Riverside Academy Rebels (Reserve, LA) boosters left the game satisfied Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Destrehan Wildcats (Destrehan, LA), 3-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, Riverside Academy improves its record to 11-3 on the season. The Rebels host Crescent City Christian (Metairie, LA) to face the Pioneers in a Division V District 8 test on Tuesday, October 1. The Pioneers go into the test with a record of 6-4. Crescent City Christian won 3-0 in their recent non-league test against Riverdale (Jefferson, LA)
The Wildcats now own a 7-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bonnabel for a non-league test on Monday, September 30. Destrehan will face a Bruins squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Kenner Discovery Health Sciences Academy (Kenner, LA). The Bruins record now stands at 11-6.
