Clarksburg Coyotes (Clarksburg, MD) boosters were content Friday as they observed their football squad nudge the visiting Richard Montgomery Rockets (Rockville, MD), 39-33 in a league match.

The Coyotes (2-2) will now prepare for their match against Sherwood (Sandy Spring, MD). The Warriors come into the non-league match with a 4-0 record. In their last match, Sherwood tipped Blake (Silver Spring, MD), 21-12, in a non-league battle.

The Rockets now own a 2-2 record. They play next when they host Wheaton for a non-league battle on Friday, October 3. Richard Montgomery will play a Knights team coming off a 43-0 league loss to Bethesda-Chevy Chase (Bethesda, MD). The Knights record now stands at 3-1.
