In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Richard Montgomery Rockets football squad scored a close 10-9 victory over the Seneca Valley Screamin' Eagles.

The Rockets (7-3) will now prepare for their match against Churchill (Potomac, MD). The Bulldogs enter the non-league match with a 10-1 record. In their last match, Churchill nipped Clarksburg (Clarksburg, MD), 36-6, in a non-league battle.

The Screamin' Eagles now own a 4-6 record.
