The Elgin/Pope John Wolfpack felled the host Creighton Bulldogs football team by a score of 38-8 in Friday's league challenge.

In their next game, the Wolfpack face the St. Mary's Cardinals (O'Neill, NE) in a D2 District 7 (8 Man) challenge, on Friday, October 3. Elgin/Pope John will attempt to improve on its 4-1 season record. The Cardinals come into the test with a 5-0 record after their 78-35 league win over Ainsworth (Ainsworth, NE).

With the defeat, Creighton drops to 2-3 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Neligh-Oakdale (Neligh, NE) to meet the Warriors in a D2 District 7 (8 Man) test on Friday, October 3. The Warriors come into the test with a record of 5-0. Neligh-Oakdale won 54-28 in their recent league challenge against North Central (Bassett, NE)
