The Forest Bearcats got by the host Scott Central Rebels football team by a score of 14-7 in Friday's non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Bearcats play the Mendenhall Tigers (Mendenhall, MS) in a 4A Region 6 challenge, on Friday, October 3. Forest will attempt to upgrade on its 4-1 season record. The Tigers come into the test with a 3-2 record after their 27-26 non-league loss to Callaway (Jackson, MS).

With the defeat, Scott Central drops to 0-5 on the campaign. The Rebels travel to Puckett (Puckett, MS) to meet the Wolves in a 2A Region 5 test on Friday, October 3. The Wolves come into the test with a record of 1-4. Puckett lost 51-26 in their recent non-league test against Bogue Chitto (Bogue Chitto, MS)
