The Morton Panthers (Morton, MS) football overcame the host Scott Central Rebels (Forest, MS), 14-3 in Friday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Panthers battle the Leake Central Gators (Carthage, MS) in a non-league game, on Friday, September 19. Morton will attempt to better on its 1-2 season record. The Gators enter the game with a 2-1 record after their 49-7 non-league loss to Kosciusko (Kosciusko, MS).
