Pennsylvania High School Football - Kiski Area can't hold off Franklin Regional

September 26, 2025: Vandergrift, PA 15690

The Franklin Regional Panthers got by the host Kiski Area Cavaliers football team by a score of 14-7 in Friday's league challenge.

In their next game, the Panthers play the Fox Chapel Foxes (Pittsburgh, PA) in a non-league test, on Friday, October 3. Franklin Regional will attempt to move on its 1-5 season record. The Foxes come into the test with a 2-4 record after their 63-3 league loss to Pine-Richland (Gibsonia, PA).

With the defeat, Kiski Area drops to 1-5 on the campaign. The Cavaliers host Greater Latrobe (Latrobe, PA) to meet the Wildcats in a WPIAL AAAAA Big East test on Friday, October 3. The Wildcats come into the test with a record of 2-4. Greater Latrobe lost 33-9 in their recent league challenge against Woodland Hills (Pittsburgh, PA)
