Maryland High School Football - Marriotts Ridge falls to Glenelg

The Glenelg Gladiators felled the visiting Marriotts Ridge Mustangs football squad by a margin of 42-14 in Friday's non-league test.

The Gladiators now sport a 4-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Oakland Mills for a Class 2A West test on Friday, October 3. Glenelg will meet a Scorpions squad coming off a 50-11 league win over Wilde Lake (Columbia, MD). The Scorpions record now stands at 4-0.

With the defeat, Marriotts Ridge drops to 2-2 on the campaign. The Mustangs host Reservoir (Fulton, MD) to face the 'Gators in a non-league challenge on Friday, October 3. The 'Gators enter the challenge with a record of 2-2. Reservoir lost 42-37 in their recent league challenge against Guilford Park (Jessup, MD)
