The Hersey Huskies football squad scored 62 points and limited the visiting Wheeling Wildcats to 0 in the Huskies league triumph on Friday.

The Huskies now hold a 3-2 record. They take the field next when they host Elk Grove for a Mid-Suburban - East test on Friday, October 3. Hersey will meet a Grenadiers squad coming off a 48-0 league loss to Rolling Meadows (Rolling Meadows, IL). The Grenadiers record now stands at 1-4.

With the defeat, Wheeling drops to 1-4 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Prospect (Mt. Prospect, IL) to meet the Knights in a Mid-Suburban - East test on Friday, October 3. The Knights enter the challenge with a record of 4-1. Prospect won 50-7 in their recent league challenge against Buffalo Grove (Buffalo Grove, IL)
