September 26, 2025: Schenectady, NY 12306 The Ichabod Crane Riders football squad (Valatie, NY), was trounced 42-6 in Friday's league contest with the host Schalmont Sabres (Schenectady, NY)
The Sabres (2-2) will now prepare for their contest against Gloversville (Gloversville, NY). The Huskies/Dragons enter the Section 2 B contest with a 1-3 record. In their last contest, Gloversville was trounced by Green Tech (Albany, NY), 14-12, in a league contest.
Coming up next, the Riders battle the Averill Park Golden Knights (Averill Park, NY) in a Section 2 B contest, on Friday, October 3. Ichabod Crane will attempt to better on its 2-2 season record. The Golden Knights enter the contest with a 2-2 record after their 32-7 league loss to Glens Falls (Glens Falls, NY).
