Virginia High School Football - Jefferson Forest nudged by Liberty Christian

In Friday's league game, the Liberty Christian Bulldogs (Lynchburg, VA) football team edged the host Jefferson Forest Cavaliers (Forest, VA), by a tally of 22-19.

In their next game, the Bulldogs battle the Franklin County Eagles (Rocky Mount, VA) in a non-league game, on Friday, October 3. Liberty Christian will attempt to better on its 2-1 season record. The Eagles enter the game with a 2-2 record after their 42-21 non-league loss to Magna Vista (Ridgeway, VA).

With the defeat, Jefferson Forest drops to 4-1 on the campaign. The Cavaliers host Amherst County (Amherst, VA) to clash with the Lancers in a Seminole outing on Friday, October 10. The Lancers come into the outing with a record of 2-3. Amherst County won 24-21 in their recent league outing against Brookville (Lynchburg, VA)
