Mars Fightin' Planets (Mars, PA) followers went home pleased Friday as they saw their football team triumph over the visiting West Mifflin Titans (West Mifflin, PA), 46-0 in a league battle.

With the win, Mars advances its record to 5-1 on the season. The Fightin' Planets host Knoch (Saxonburg, PA) to confront the Knights in a WPIAL AAAA Greater Allegheny match on Friday, October 3. The Knights enter the match with a record of 0-6. Knoch lost 21-14 in their recent league match against Indiana (Indiana, PA)

Coming up next, the Titans confront the McKeesport Tigers (McKeesport, PA) in a WPIAL AAAA Greater Allegheny match, on Friday, October 3. West Mifflin will attempt to upgrade on its 1-5 season record. The Tigers enter the match with a 3-3 record after their 46-7 league win over Hampton (Allison Park, PA).
