Idaho High School Football - New Plymouth sneaks past Melba

September 26, 2025: Melba, ID 83641

The New Plymouth Pilgrims football squad scored 7 points and limited the host Melba Mustangs to 6 in the Pilgrims league triumph on Friday.

In their next game, the Pilgrims face the Parma Panthers (Parma, ID) in a 3A Western Idaho Conference challenge, on Friday, October 3. New Plymouth will attempt to improve on its 4-2 season record. The Panthers go into the challenge with a 1-4 record after their 45-7 league loss to Marsing (Marsing, ID).

The Mustangs (0-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Nampa Christian (Nampa, ID). The Trojans go into the 3A Western Idaho Conference challenge with a 2-2 record. In their last challenge, Nampa Christian was edged by Fruitland (Fruitland, ID), 50-23, in a non-league challenge.
