The Neuqua Valley Wildcats (Naperville, IL) football knocked off the host Metea Valley Mustangs (Aurora, IL), 37-22 in Friday's league outing.

The Wildcats now possess a 2-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Homewood-Flossmoor for a Southwest Valley - Blue game on Friday, October 3. Neuqua Valley will battle a Vikings team coming off a 31-7 league loss to Sandburg (Orland Park, IL). The Vikings record now stands at 3-2.

With the defeat, Metea Valley drops to 2-3 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Lincoln-Way East (Frankfort, IL) to clash with the Griffins in a Southwest Valley - Blue outing on Friday, October 3. The Griffins come into the outing with a record of 5-0. Lincoln-Way East won 44-7 in their recent league outing against Naperville Central (Naperville, IL)
