South Dakota High School Football - Mitchell can't hold off Tea
September 26, 2025: Mitchell, SD 57301 The Tea Titans held off the host Mitchell Kernels football squad by a margin of 26-20 in Friday's league test.
The Titans now sport a 4-1 record. They take the field next when they host Brookings for a Eastern South Dakota test on Friday, October 3. Tea will meet a Bobcats squad coming off a 21-7 non-league win over Roosevelt (Sioux Falls, SD). The Bobcats record now stands at 3-2.
With the defeat, Mitchell drops to 1-4 on the campaign. The Kernels travel to Aberdeen Central (Aberdeen, SD) to meet the Golden Eagles in a Eastern South Dakota test on Friday, October 3. The Golden Eagles come into the test with a record of 1-4. Aberdeen Central won 21-13 in their recent league test against Sturgis Brown (Sturgis, SD)
