The crowd at Friday's league bout between the Mt. Lebanon Blue Devils (Pittsburgh, PA) and the host Seneca Valley Raiders (Harmony, PA), saw Mt. Lebanon's football team prevail over Seneca Valley by a final score of 41-20.

With the win, Mt. Lebanon advances its record to 1-5 on the season. The Blue Devils travel to North Allegheny (Wexford, PA) to encounter the Tigers in a WPIAL AAAAAA Quad-County contest on Friday, October 3. The Tigers enter the contest with a record of 5-1. North Allegheny lost 21-6 in their recent league contest against Central Catholic (Pittsburgh, PA)

Coming up next, the Raiders confront the Canon-McMillan Big Macs (Canonsburg, PA) in a WPIAL AAAAAA Quad-County contest, on Friday, October 3. Seneca Valley will attempt to better on its 2-4 season record. The Big Macs enter the contest with a 3-3 record after their 38-27 league loss to Hempfield Area (Greensburg, PA).
