Mt. Lebanon Blue Devils (Pittsburgh, PA) boosters were content Friday as they observed their football squad thwart the visiting Hempfield Area Spartans (Greensburg, PA), 28-6 in a league match.

The Blue Devils (2-7) will now prepare for their match against Norwin (North Huntingdon, PA). The Knights come into the WPIAL AAAAAA Quad-County match with a 6-3 record. In their last challenge, Norwin toppled Canon-McMillan (Canonsburg, PA), 24-21, in a league challenge.

The Spartans (4-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Gateway (Monroeville, PA). The Gators come into the non-league test with a 3-6 record. In their last test, Gateway knocked off Greater Latrobe (Latrobe, PA), 27-24, in a league test.
