The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Union City Indians (Union City, IN) and the visiting Union County Patriots (Liberty, IN), witnessed Union City's football squad wallop Union County by a tally of 63-8.

The Indians (1-5) will now prepare for their bout against Cambridge City Lincoln (Cambridge City, IN). The Golden Eagles go into the Tri-Eastern bout with a 0-6 record. In their last bout, Cambridge City Lincoln was crushed by Knightstown (Knightstown, IN), 89-0, in a league bout.

The Patriots now own a 1-5 record. They play next when they host Centerville for a Tri-Eastern bout on Friday, October 3. Union County will encounter a Bulldogs team coming off a 29-27 league loss to Northeastern (Fountain City, IN). The Bulldogs record now stands at 4-2.
