California High School Football - Homestead sneaks past MacDonald

The Homestead Mustangs football squad scored 26 points and limited the visiting MacDonald Condor to 22 in the Mustangs non-league triumph on Friday.

The Mustangs now sport a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they host Monta Vista for a non-league challenge on Thursday, October 2. Homestead will face a Matadors team coming off a 39-14 league loss to Saratoga (Saratoga, CA). The Matadors record now stands at 0-1.

The Condor (1-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Cupertino (Cupertino, CA). The Pioneers enter the challenge with a 0-2 record. In their last challenge, Cupertino was edged by Santa Clara (Santa Clara, CA), 51-0, in a non-league challenge.
